All-Decade League: Season 3 Topic

Season 3 sign-ups have begun for the All-Decade league. Returning owners will have first priority on decade claims, but we are hoping to expand the league from 20 to 24 teams. Season 2 filled up rather quickly, with many owners from season 1 returning. There were also over 200 combined championships from our ownership group, so it is a competitive league.

The rules are rather simple:

Choose a decade. Then create an all-decade team using only players from that 10-year time period. $140 mil salary cap, no WW, clones, trades or AAA. You can roll over across decades, but you only get a 10-year period. For example, you can choose 1936-1945, which technically spans two decades.

Now, here's the added part. There can only be a maximum of 4-5 teams per decade/era. The divisions will be aligned based on the decade you choose. For example, all 2010-2019 teams will be placed in one division, all 2000-2009 teams in another division, and so on. There will be no more than one full division of dead ball teams (pre-1920).

This season, neither league will have a DH.

If interested, please make a note of it in this thread. Please also claim your decade.

I am returning (after both my teams collapsed in epic fashion during Season 2) I will do just one team for now.

I will go with a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away and select the decade of 1890-1899.

Thanks
