Majors Season 73 needs 7 new owners. We are a theme league that uses real ML baseball teams. So if you like the idea of using a real ML team name this is the league for you. We have a mix of win ready and rebuild teams available and we have some active owners and zero drama. Montreal Expos: 75-87, 3^rd place. Montreal has been on the rebuilding stage going from a low of 46 wins to 75 this past season. Has some young talent and seems poised to compete. 14^th pick in the draft.

Detroit Tigers: 54-108, last place. #1 pick in the draft. This team has had a top pick the past 2 seasons so should have the basis to start rebuilding. One time powerhouse is looking to get back to the top of the standings.

Baltimore Orioles: 67-95, 4^th place. Baltimore is another team ready to rebuild after a few years of draft picks. Not a lot of commitments on the ML level – this team can be fixed quickly. #6 pick in the draft.

Jackson Senators: 81-81 3^rd place. This team is probably ready to compete with a few tweaks. Top level SS, one season removed from 95 wins. A few tweaks and this team is playing for a playoff spot.

Cincinnati Reds: 85-77 4^th place. Tough division, but this team competed. Just two seasons removed from back to back 100 win seasons. Still has talent to compete.

Colorado Rockies: 67-95, 3^rd place. Has the #7 pick in the draft and has finished in the middle of the pack for several years. Need a refresh but can be turned around quickly as there is talent.

San Diego Padres: 58-104 4^th place. #2 pock in the draft – this team is in rebuild mode – having a top pick the past 3 years. Should be a great organization to rebuild if that’s what you are looking for.

I have to admit; I enjoy the ML theme of this world. Only wish that MLB had 32 teams so we could be more accurate. Don't think it's been decided if we'll switch to the Universal DH yet, but it won't be an option before we start this season, so we'll have time for that discussion. At the moment we have a few AL & NL teams to choose from so let drichter know which team you'd like to lead to a WS title.
