The Cobra Passed today at age 74. For a few years during my formative youth, he was about as good as it could get. I always appreciated him.

Enjoyed watching him play...from 75-80 he was among the very best. During that period of his career he could really run for a guy his size. RIP Cobra...

Nobody ran on his arm. And he could hit. RIP.

That is an awesome article. I love the T shirt legend also. The ‘79 Pirates are my favorite non-Twins team. They were a fun team to watch.

I actually use Cobra quite often in the game and he rarely disappoints. He has some pretty good seasons to chose from and some at very affordable prices.
I won an OL last week, with him on an A's team I put together.
