The Rules

* · Serpentine draft. 1 player per round in rounds 1-5, 2 players in round 6.
The draft order will be arranged in the following manner. Any returning manager who was not in the playoffs will be in the lottery, with a chance at getting the first pick. The second group will be returning managers who made the playoffs and requested closer to 1. The teams with fewer wins will be closer to 1. Point differential will be used as a tie breaker if necessary. The next group will be new managers who requested closer to 1, first come first served. The next group will be new managers who requested closer to 24. The final group will be those who requested closer to 24. The teams with the better records earn the right to be closer to 24.
GMs will have the option to request their spot in the draft order by indicating closer to 1/24 when they sign up. You may change your choice up until the final draft order is set. GMs that did not indicate where they want to draft will be given whatever spots are left.
If you choose closer to 24 you will not be in the draft lottery. For the draft lottery, the commissioner will break ties (for the ping pong balls) by random.org. If the Commissioner's team is involved Commissioner will take the worse draft pick.
24 hour draft rule in Round 1. Commissioner will pick a player if a GM does not draft in 24 hours so the draft can proceed (No skips). After Round 1 players may be skipped but the Commissioner has discretion in selecting a player for the team.
We will be on a time clock starting in Round Two. If anyone drafts a player who has already been drafted, he will be notified in the forums and also by site-mail. After notification he has thirty minutes to replace the pick. After thirty minutes the draft continues and he can replace the incorrect pick whenever he can.
Two for one or three for one or whatever you like trades are allowed.
Divisions
Divisions will NOT be random. They will be drafted by the division winners from last season. The division draft will take place immediately after the player draft ends, while we wait for the league to fill.
