What are the odds a guy will re-sign if he is traded to a new team after he’s been arb’d 3 times?

Not sure what the exact odds are but yes it is more likely that he's willing to re-sign with his new team. But if he's good enough to be a Type A free agent he's likely to go FA anyway.

The only time I've had luck the player's were SUB/4th OF/Util inf types.

I accidentally 3-arb'd Diory Moreno and had to trade him... he re-signed with that team and just made the Hall of Fame. I suspect that the patience = 88 and the makeup = 99 might have had something to do with that... but stars certainly can possibly re-sign with the new team.

If you arb a guy three times as a mistake, demote him to the minors for the whole season. He will then not reach 6 seasons and will sign the next off season, without going free agent.

Love the nuclear option Seventy_77 send him down and sort it out later!

I've personally never been burned trading for a player thats been ARB'd 3 times and having them not willing to sign LT with my franchise but I've seen it happen in leagues a few times recently so its a gamble.

I accidentally arb'd a player 3 times and he was not going to resign. Traded him for a player another team couldn't resign. Was able to extend the player I picked up and then signed the player I traded in the FA market. Needless to say, the other guy was less than thrilled.
