I have a soph guard with 2.6 gpa and they are saying Academically ineligible?????

this makes ZERO sense and he now can't play in the tourney

what am i missing

Q: Do I have to worry about a player's grades? Can they become academically ineligible?

A: Yes, players can lose their eligibility for a semester if their cumulative GPA drops below 2.0, or if their grades for that term are below 2.0. To make sure a player doesn't become academically ineligible, make sure they are receiving plenty of study hall time (see the practice plan)

What was your players GPA for the semester?

i am not sure - i normally NEVER spend any minutes on a soph - i give plenty his fr year -- and if he is till at 2.6 must of had a 3.0 or higher
had no idea until season done and conf tourney beginning - i'll just have to double check my emails from now on but had team
that could make very deep run and this hurts-thx for checking
