Question for the world - does anyone know how they determine priority for type-A compensation picks? I have been on both sides of the issue and can't figure out a rhyme or reason.

.. for instance, this season Kansas City signed 6 separate Type-A free agents - I was awarded the 3rd slot in priority but can't figure out why I wasn't 1st or 6th (or any other combination)....

Does anyone have any starting pitchers they are open to trading? Maybe a depth guy who can’t crack the ML club? Prefer a younger guy but could take on a contract for the right player.
