I picked up Don Martin. I understand your perspective Parlance but don't fully agree; especially with bench coaches. Happy to take this into a private chat, if anyone wants to do that.

And yet, that team, over the last 13 years, has 7 1st place finishes and 6 2nd place finishes and 3 WS titles. Maybe coaching is overrated.

It becomes a lot worse for everyone when a guy like Don Martin, who is not even AA quality, gets signed to a ML coaching job. ;)

They need to make the coaching pool more flexible in their demand level/role to offset the coaches who are grossly underqualified getting ML offers.

I just had a coach whose demand is HiA level tell me he got a ML offer. It's ridiculous, he's barely good enough for AA.
