Could he have been eligible for the draft but not drafted? Iirc 22 year old college seniors become free agents the next year if they’re not drafted.

It’d be surprising to me if Corbin was in that situation; with his ratings I would’ve expected him to be drafted by somebody. But that’s my best guess as to what might’ve happened.

Yes, they do. I did something similar with Otto Huskey (P) back in the day. Usually they are nowhere near the talent level of Corbin though. He could probably hold his own in the majors right now.
