7/14 10:30 PM My best guess with that recruit is the Illinois coach left and stock player took the job over and there is a pretty significant ding when that happens so the new Illinois coach so St. Louis got a gift on that guy pajammies
7/14 5:42 PM Anyone have any recruiting advice, particularly how to pick your battles? I feel like I do all the obvious stuff - avoid going against high prestige teams, target players whose preferences fit my team - but not only does that mean I have to hope ... pajammies
7/14 5:42 PM ...lesser prospects develop, but I still seem to constantly be in recruiting battles. For example I lost 62% to 38% to St Louis for David Hurst. Not great luck but still pretty much a coin flip, but they're also B- prestige, so I'm fine with ... pajammies
7/14 5:42 PM ...that. But then I look at their recruiting, and somehow with only three openings (to my four) they also signed the #7 overall player, who had offers from four A or A+ programs. Is that just good luck they found a player those teams were casually ... pajammies
7/14 5:42 PM ...pursuing? I just don't get how he can beat me for a 3 star player when he has 80 total AP to my 100, and also beat out Illinois, Kansas, Wake Forest, and Kentucky for the #2 overall PG as well. Aren't the AP of a B- team worth like half ... pajammies
